Hi Everyone, I am organizing this for the Enriquez family. Alex, 20, is having her heart transplant this week. Alex found out at 16 that she has a genetic condition that causes heart failure. She has been hospitalized many times since then. She was recently upgraded on the transplant list due to her continuing heart failure. Our prayers were answered and she now has a matching donor heart. Her transplant is 11/8, which leaves Melisa and Pablo with Alex at the hospital and over time back and forth between the hospital and home with Javi and Rodrigo. With Alex's transplant and all of the aftercare it is going to a lot on the family. I have set this up to allow volunteering to provide meals or donating doordash gift cards for meals, or making donations if you want to help offset the medical expenses. Most of all let's all keep Alex and the entire family, her medical team and the donor and their family in our prayers. If you want to arrange dropping off prepared meals that is great too, let's just coordinate to it is spread out and not all at once.
