Story

Our dear Marissa is has a thyroidectomy scheduled on April 22. Due to abnormality in the tissue, it has been recommended that the thyroid be removed. If you have spent 5 minutes with Marissa, I am confident you have been forever impacted by the love, compassion, and generosity of Christ that she reflects. Marissa and her husband Trevor are lights in this world and disperse such joy to all who encounter them. In addition to prayer for a successful, no complication procedure and a fast/full recovery - food heals! If you are seeing this page it is because you have generously offered to provide Marissa and Trevor with a meal. As you know, Marissa is a full time teacher AND full time grad student. Trevor also works full time and is in the process of taking classes online. They are overwhelmed with thankfulness at your willingness to support them. How good is our God to provide everything His children needs, every day.

Special Notes

Recovery looks different for every person and until the other side of surgery, we don’t know how it will look for Marissa. In order to facilitate optimal rest, please shoot Marissa a text before dropping by to coordinate timing. She would love to see you but may require your flexibility as she listens to her body’s requirement for recuperation. Please limit your meals between 2-4 servings as their fridge may overflow with leftovers otherwise. I look forward to uniting with you all in prayer for Marissa and Trevor and supporting them as they have for so many.
