SUPPORT BRONTË ON THEIR JOURNEY TO RECOVERY On Monday, March 17th, Bronte Grimm was admitted to Legacy Emanuel Hospital with stroke-like symptoms. Since then, they have experienced paralysis on the right side of their body, losing feeling in their leg and arm, and are struggling with substantial vocal aphasia. To make matters worse, they have been suffering from multiple daily seizures that have yet to subside. Initial CAT scans and MRIs have ruled out a stroke, but doctors are still searching for answers. A full battery of tests is underway, but as of now, the cause of Bronte’s paralysis and seizures remains unknown. A CHAMPION FOR OTHERS, NOW IN NEED OF SUPPORT Bronte has spent years advocating for the disabled and standing up for marginalized communities. They’ve fought tirelessly for others—now, they need our help simply to stand up again. Due to the severity of their condition, Bronte will not be able to return home immediately. The hospital has begun working with rehabilitation facilities, and we anticipate they will remain at Legacy Emanuel through most of the next week before being transferred to rehab.
