Vic Eding's Cancer Battle Support Page is a way for friends and family to stay updated with his latest tests, results, and prayer needs as he navigates his battle with lung cancer. Vic was on vacation in the Jackson Hole, WY with his wife, Marcia when he noticed a persistent shortness of breath that became so cumbersome that Marcia took him to the ER there. After a X-Ray and CT scan, it was discovered that Vic has a large mass in his left lung and a small mass in his right lung. His oxygen levels were down to 82 with nominal movement and it was determined that he would be admitted overnight to obtain the required oxygen tank to make the long journey back to Michigan. With prayers and support from family members who rallied to support him, they were able to immediately leave WY upon discharge the next day and make the journey home in record time to arrive at the doctors appointment with a lung specialist that day! Despite not yet having had a biopsy, the specialist felt confident in the diagnosis and we have begun the next steps towards Vic's recovery. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.'
