Many of you know that Kelley has been struggling with the impacts of cancer since she was pregnant with Daphne, but you may not know how difficult life has become for her entire family in the years since that diagnosis. Island life has been extra challenging since her metastatic recurrence in 2021, navigating family life, regular travel for treatment and pandemic stress. Most recently scans found some progression and she has started a new chemo, while still recovering from a neck injury in the fall, diminishing her capacity further. The family is struggling to keep up with day to day life under this continual strain and needs community support now more than ever.
