Story
I’m back for my 12th (and hopefully final, for now) surgery in this five-year health journey. To share a bit about what’s ahead: I have arthritis on both sides of my neck, which causes stiffness and severe, sharp pain. Makes it difficult to twist & turn my neck, bend it forwards & back, & sit with it in one position with minimal moving (makes sense right? 😵💫) The upcoming procedure on Dec. 17th is an oblation to burn off the nerve endings and, if successful, should provide lasting pain relief….for up to six months to a year. If the pain returns in six weeks to six months (nerve endings can grow back), then I would repeat the surgery. Otherwise, I may be good for a while before I’d have to do this again. I have a few appointments leading into Jan. that I need transportation for, which are noted on this page, if you’re able to help. If you’d like to lend a hand, please feel free to sign up at your convenience. Zach and I deeply appreciate your continued kindness and support throughout this journey—it means more than words can express. May Jehovah bless you abundantly in all your endeavors! If you have any questions about signing up or how to help, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me by Dec. 16th. Everything is being coordinated virtually to make things simple. Take care, and have a phenomenal day!
