Hi there! My name is Sara & I’m coming to ask for help for my mom, Beth! On October 18th, 2024 Beth went for a breast biopsy after having a tumor detected in her left breast. A few days later on 11/21/24 we got the results back; She has breast cancer! Her diagnosis is invasive carcinoma of no special type, with her tumor being ER positive, PR positive and HER2 negative. She will have surgery on 12/30/24 to remove the tumor as well as a few problematic lymph nodes. Four to six weeks later (after complete healing from surgery) she will start chemo and radiation if the lymph nodes are positive, or just radiation if the lymph nodes are negative. She recently had a brain bleed in September, and is still unsteady and skiddish. Trying to anticipate how she will handle surgery and treatment is all I can do to help ensure she is safe and has what she needs during recovery and treatment. They say it takes a village, & her village could really use you!
