Earlier this month Delphine was the victim of elder fraud and lost her life savings during a vulnerable time in her life. Contacting the banks did not help and the funds are not recoverable. This month is particularly a rough one in that she has already received her social security check and due to the scam her checking account is now overdrawn. We are organizing a meal train to help her through the end of the month and try to adjust to the new circumstances in the coming months.
