Story
UPDATE: January 1, 2024: It’s almost been a year. The dust has long settled after the traumatic events in Lesa, Emmie, and Sadie‘s lives. But the challenges still remain. Emotionally & financially. Not only have they gone from two incomes to one, but Lesa has recently made some changes that reduced her income in order to be home more and to be more present with Emmie and Sadie. As we all know life is expensive. Just keeping up with the cost of counseling for Emmie and Sadie is taking its toll. We They continue to benefit from any support you feel moved to provide. Jonathon was diagnosed with Glioblastoma grade 4 in February 2022. It was discovered after he had a massive seizure at home and was rushed to the hospital. He had a craniotomy to remove what could be removed of the tumor. He has endured multiple rounds of chemo and radiation, and multiple hospitalizations. He has been unable to work most of his journey and currently not working. He won the fight on February 4, 2023 & went into the arms of Jesus. This page has been organized to help ease the burden of medical bills and every day expenses and now allow Lesa to focus on the girls. All funds raised will go towards medical expenses, utilities, etc. There is a Venmo donation link at the bottom of this page. Other helpful ways to give include Amazon, Wal-Mart, or Kroger gift cards to help with groceries, supplies, etc. There is also a link to their Amazon Wishlist at the bottom of this page. The Amazon Wishlist will be updated with household needs and things to make the girls happy. If you are unable to give, please share & send prayers & love!
