Heather is having her 5th back surgery. This will be an artificial disc replacement in her cervical spine at the c4/5 level. The recovering is about 6 weeks. 2 weeks no driving. 6 weeks limited turning head, limited to 10 lbs lifting. Her doctors have advised that she will start feeling better very quickly, but needs to be cautious not to overdo it as it could damage or dislodge the new disc.
