Jenny Kuller/ Redhead Sadie Vintage

Phoenix, AZ

Story

On November 6th, 2024, I was formally diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of Rectum, Stage 2B. My Oncologist, Dr. David Paul of MD Anderson Cancer Center at Banner University Medical Center, has confidentially assured me that this particular cancer is 100% curable after treatment. It is actually a rarer form of rectal cancer, and has started to make contact with my lymph nodes, which rules out surgery. I will be receiving 6 weeks of radiation, five days a week, with chemotherapy augmentation during the first and sixth week of treatment. Dr. Paul told me that I will basically be out of commission for at least 8 weeks or so. Treatment should begin sometime during the first or second week of December 2024. I support myself by working for the last 20 or so years for a local estate sale company and have been selling vintage hard goods, clothing and jewelry for the last 30 years. I am in a committed relationship but we live separately right now. I live by myself in Phoenix, in the Arcadia area. I am getting a port put in on November 18. I am also meeting my radiation doctor for the first time that same day. I am getting an MRI on November 26th at the request of the radiation doctor to better pinpoint the radiation. There are more steps that need to be taken before treatment actually starts, but little by little, it's coming up soon. I will work as long as I can, and I have 3 events on November 24, 29 and 30 at which I will be set up selling vintage.
