Dear Pharmacy Family, Our beloved friend Aileen Belitz is facing a challenging time as she undergoes surgery for treatment of Stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma. Thanks to early detection, her diagnosis came at an early stage, allowing for timely treatment and a positive outlook. Aileen feels strongly about the importance of regular screenings and early detection and hopes to inspire others to prioritize their health and schedule regular check-ups. Aileen will be out for four to six weeks as she recovers from a bilateral mastectomy and oophorectomy. During this period, we want to surround Aileen and her family with love, nourishment, and support to help lighten their load and allow her to focus fully on healing. To help Aileen and her family during this time, we’re organizing a meal train and accepting donations for meals and gift cards. These contributions will ensure that Aileen, her husband, and their son Oliver have nutritious meals without added stress, creating space for them to rest, heal, and stay strong.
