As many of you know, Shane Hinkle ...my husband, was born with Aortic Stenosis. This resulted in him having heart surgery at the age of two, and again in 2016. In 2016, Shane had emergency open heart surgery replacing his aortic valve. It was a difficult transition. However, Shane made a strong recovery and continued to be the strong and amazing man we know him to be. Unfortunately, that heart valve now needs to be replaced. Several smaller surgeries will also need to be done at the same time by two surgeons - this coming November 20. This new valve and technology is amazing and we have every reason believe Shane will make a powerful recovery through this. Many of you wonderful people have asked "What can we do?"
