Story
on Christmas Eve [just three days before his first birthday] Grayson suffered a severe allergic reaction after breakfast. his dad, Andrew, administered an EpiPen while his mom, Jessica, called 911—actions that saved his life. despite this, Grayson stopped breathing in the ambulance + went into cardiac arrest at the hospital. Grayson spent his first Christmas + birthday fighting for his life in the pediatric intensive care unit at children’s hospital. his road to recovery is long + uncertain. his family faces many challenges ahead. on january 3, Grayson was transferred to madonna rehabilitation, where he is undergoing intensive therapies. he now participates in an hour each of physical, occupational + speech therapy, monday through saturday. each session is typically broken into 30-minute blocks, requiring hands-on support from Jessica + Andy as they meet with therapists + doctors multiple times a day. they are also rotating nights at home with Mady + Jax. with so much demanding their time + energy, they have been overwhelmed. they are deeply grateful for every donation, every thought + every prayer. the love + support from so many has been a true comfort during this incredibly challenging time.
