Read below the story about Amy and her selfless act of donating her kidney from the FB page of Lydia Allen: ❤️We found our miracle, our hero, our angel, our literal life saver!!! ❤️ For years we have said that we didn’t know how everything would eventually work out with Scott’s situation, but we have always said that we knew in the end it would be a really good story! And oh my, it is… Amy Case told us months ago when she filled out the paperwork to be a donor that she just knew she was “The One.” She went through many, many tests and every step of the way she kept assuring us that it was going to be her- she just KNEW IT! After months of testing, sure enough- she was 100% right! This Friday Scott will have his kidney transplant from our amazing donor, Amy! She was Scott’s co-worker for years at Bradley, she then took a new job that led her to what is now our kids elementary school (where her sweet kids also attend!) and best of all- she lives right down the street from us! We have not only found a donor, we have found a new extended family! 🥰 September 2nd will forevermore be a holiday in the Allen house! We will celebrate every single year (and day!) the gift that Amy is so selflessly and generously giving us. We can’t wait for this new lease on life, it’s truly a miracle! 🙏🏻❤️
