Story
I had a horrible asthma attackthat my nebulizer wasn't helping. I went outside to get some air and started yelling for Omar. I knew I was going to pass out and told him to call 911 as I kept saying I am going to pass out. He caught me as I went limp and turned purple. He brought me into our kitchen and put me on the floor. He started doing CPR as I was not breathing, my heart stopped 💔. The paramedics got there and continued CPR and they recessitated me. I was intubated and put on the respirator when I got to the hospital. I was fighting them trying to put the trach tube in and when I woke up they said it was the fastest wake up they had ever see for an asthma attack that ended ike this. I have been breathing room air since and have been on the up and up. I have a fantastic pulmonologist now and he has a wonderful plan moving forward to stay ahead of all of this and not allow this to happen ever again. I still have a a road of recovery ahead and need to really take it slow for a while. I am so thankful for my children being asleep so they didn't have to see any of this, I am soooo thankful for my husband catching me so I didn't have any head trauma and for him knowing exactly what to do in a situation like this. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and good vibes.
