Recently Michelle has been experiencing some health issues which prompted her physician to perform a scan of her abdomen. When doing so they found a rather large mass on her ovary. She had surgery this past Friday. It appears to be endometrial cancer. They are not sure yet if it started in her uterus or ovary. The surgeon removed uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, omentum, two lymph nodes close to pelvis and appendix. She also did biopsies in other areas. Michelle will need chemo but won’t know the stage and how much until the pathology report is complete. She will receive the final results on or around 2/21. I am organizing a meal train for her, Keith and Keigan. With flu, COVID, RSV and a nasty stomach bug going around, they have asked for no visitors. We would hate to pass any of that on to Michelle. With that being said, you can deliver meals to my home, just next door, and I will work with Keith to get them delivered. They should be coming home Monday and I plan on feeding them the first night.
