On February 28th early in the morning, Mark was woken up to Sam having a seizure. He called 911 and within minutes the ambulance and paramedics arrived. Sam was taken to CDH hospital in Winfield. Sam under went multiple tests. She had X-rays, an EEG, and a MRI. Once all her tests were completed she was told that she has a 3cm mass on the left backside of her brain. This mass is pushing on her brain and causing swelling which was why she had a seizure. On Tuesday, March 4th Sam will be undergoing brain surgery to remove the tumor. From what we are being told Sam will be unable to drive and unable to work for a while. The doctors are saying anywhere from 3-8 weeks but will know more once the surgery has been completed. She is on anti seizure medication and steroids currently which makes her extremely sleepy. I have created this page to show Sam, Mark, Archie (5) and Penny Lane(1) how much we love and are here to support them. I have set up a meal train for when Sam comes home from the hospital. Let's support Sam and Mark by praying for them. Pray for Sam to feel peaceful before surgery. Pray for the doctors and staff to have skilled hands while performing surgery. Pray for her recovery. Also, pray for Mark that he can run the house, take care of the kids and take care of Sam
