Story
Asking and accepting help is not something I typically do, but I am so overwhelmed with everyone’s willingness to rally together and ensure my family and myself are taken care of during this tragic time. My mom was the most selfless person I have ever known. She helped my family in more ways than I’ll ever be able to thank her for. Between providing us with excessive amounts of bulk items from Sam’s, spoiling the dogs with bones and treats and helping to raise Ellie almost her entire first year of life, she really made sure we were always set up for success so that we could build our careers, enjoy our children, enjoy our marriage and relax from any “unnecessary” stressors. We are still trying to navigate this life without her, and it will take lots of time. The most important thing I know mom would want is for all of our *someones* to take over her Dammaw duties while we find our new normal. Momma always said “it takes a village” and it’s time for me to listen to mom (LTM)! We thank you all in advance for your thoughts, your prayers, and your over pouring love and support during this time.
Special Notes
Our number one priority is ensuring daycare for the kids is covered, as Dammaw really played the biggest role in caring for them. In lieu of flowers, a meal, groceries, etc. we ask that you consider helping us in funding the best possible care for Eliana. Venmo: laurenmay48
