Story
On January 13, 2024, I was in a sledding accident and broke both of my ankles. It's been almost 1 year of this recovery journey. My left ankle is fixed, but my right ankle was destroyed. I've had three surgeries on it, and this most recent is my 4th. I had surgery on January 9th to address the problems with my right ankle. My right tibia suffered a compound fracture, and my ankle joint was significantly damaged. The surgical procedure involved cleaning out bone fragments and reconstructing the bone using a special bone graft. I now have internal plates for support and am required to be non-weight-bearing for two months. During this time, I will be using crutches, a brace, and other mobility aids. I would greatly appreciate assistance with meal preparation during my recovery."
Special Notes
No spicy food, please. If the food is for our family of 5, Lucas doesn't eat chocolate, so please keep that in mind.
