He graduated from Austin Community College and worked as an accountant for over 15 years before starting Double Eagle Transport, a car-hauling business. Bill has since been involved in local chapters of the American Legion and Masonic Lodge. He and Patsy, his wife of over 60 years, are life-long members of the First Christian Church.
