Story
In times of grief, it can be hard for a family to manage everyday tasks, especially something as essential as preparing meals. The loss of a child or student is a devastating experience, and in a close-knit community like ours, we all feel the pain. Kelsey and I are starting this meal train for The Darby's because it’s one small way we can ease their burden. Providing regular meals allows them to focus on grieving, healing, and spending time with each other, rather than worrying about cooking. It’s also an opportunity for us, as friends and neighbors, to come together and show our love and support during this unimaginable time. Our community is built on caring for one another, and right now, this family needs us more than ever. Whether it’s a hot dinner, a comforting message, or just something to help them get through the day, offering a meal whether cooked or a gift card for those days they just want something quick, we can make a meaningful difference. We have also included an array of different gift card choices for whatever may be needed that they may be in need of. Thank you for joining me in supporting The Darby's as they navigate this heartbreaking journey. Let’s show them they are not alone.
Special Notes
At this time we are asking that if you would like to sign up for a meal that you drop it off at Prairie Heights High School. Kelsey, Dena or myself will deliver meals or anything you would like to help the family with.
