Meals should be Vegan + Gluten Free. Organic When Possible. Jaala wants to lean towards Ayurvedic foods for post partum. These are dishes that are thoroughly cooked, warm, savory, spiced, have good fats and are easy to digest. Warm comfort foods such as soups, broths, and root vegetables are ideal. High-quality fats such as avocado + olive oil, and spices such as ginger, cumin, and black pepper are great. Stay away from raw foods, salads, and cold meals.
