Sue’s Support Squad

Edwardsville, IL

Story

Suzy’s Support Squad was started to help organize the love and kindness of all her friends and family. She was recently diagnosed with having multiple meningiomas located within her head, attaching to the outside of her brain. Suzy’s friends and family want to show support while she undergoes surgery to remove the meningiomas. See here for a brief introduction as to what meningiomas are: https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/meningioma Please take a look around the page to see what updates are available, how to help, and Suzy’s availability post surgery. **Please note we are not accepting donations, gift cards, etc! This is just to update friends and also allow for a meal train if you want to help! No pressure or requirements! Join the meal train through the care calendar and sign up for a lunch or dinner slot. The Lunch slot is just for Suzy and a guest or two, and will be implemented in the future. Further directions are indicated on the care calendar for food drop off. If you are unsure of whether it’s a good time for visiting, phone calls, or messages, please utilize the icons at the top of the page, which indicate availability. Feel free to also message Samantha if needed!

Special Notes

For Meal Train please note- Suzy is allergic to shellfish! 🦐
