Story
Birth was beautiful and hard, and my body needs some surgical support to re-heal more happily… which means another laying-in period! 😅 I’ll be in bed for two weeks which leaves Matt with a lot on his plate, so let’s collectively remove cooking but add food!
Special Notes
Warming and nutritious meals appreciated! For Oscar’s sake, not too spicy and light on the garlic please 🙏 Here are some of our favorites and we’d love to try yours too: - Kinboshi ramen (tonkatsu shoyu) - Nong’s khao man gai (#1, #7) - Naan n curry (chicken tikka masala, palaak paneer, madras, mili juli sabzi, punjabi dal tadka) - grain bowls (any from The Celery) - Kalé (curry rice with katsu, pickles, roasted veggies) - Thai curry (Thai Seasons used to be our spot in NE, we haven’t found any good spots out in St. John’s!) - Mole Mole (cochinita burritos, the mississippi location is better for some reason) - Hat Yai (hat yai for two with extra curry bc their curry is insane) - Wajan or other Indo food (soto bening, gado gado, rendang sapi, terong balado, acar kuning, kue lumpur surga ubi) - Cafe Olli (all of their veg dishes and pizzas are amazing) - XLB (any of their dumplings except the chili ones, green beans, sautéed greens, bok choy) - Whole Bowl (no olives, light sour cream plz!) - phǒ (beef is great, no organ meats plz sorryyy)
