Comfort Food for Ann’s Family

West Linn, OR

Story

Ann lived her life as a masterpiece—an artist, a friend, a mother, a wife, and a beacon of love in her community. In her “4th Quarter of Life,” she found her true calling, creating a flower farm that became so much more than a place to grow blooms. She poured her heart into making hundreds of arrangements each week, gifting them to seniors in assisted living, and building a community within the farm that will live on beyond her - what a legacy to leave behind! Ann left us suddenly on Wednesday due to a brain aneurysm, but in true Ann fashion, she is still giving—her final act of generosity being the gift of life through organ donation. Now, as her family navigates this unimaginable loss, we have the chance to show up for them, just as Ann always showed up for others. This is such a devastating and unexpected loss and the family is in need of support in the way of meals. Let’s wrap them in love!

Special Notes

Right now, Ann’s home is filled with family and friends offering love and support. To help ease the burden, we’re asking her community to provide meals (for 6), snacks, beverages, and disposable plates, cups, and utensils. This will minimize cleanup and meal prep, giving her loved ones one less thing to worry about during this difficult time. Ann’s family deeply loves this community, but at this time, they are asking for privacy as they navigate the days ahead. To make meal drop-offs as easy as possible, Andy has placed a cooler outside Ann’s home where food can be left. Your support means the world to them, and this simple act will help lighten their load as they process this profound loss. For those of you unfamiliar with Anns home, feel free to park just outside the gate and enter through the garden entryway. The cooler will be on the porch of the house.
