Story
As many of you know, my dad was diagnosed with upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) in February. He was able to have his surgery a month sooner than originally scheduled and we are thankful for his doctors and staff at Mayo for taking such great care of him throughout this process. Although he is home recovering from surgery, the battle isn’t over. His cancer is considered high grade, which means it can be very aggressive with a high reoccurrence rate in the bladder and/or other organs. Please continue to keep my dad and family in your thoughts and prayers as the doctors determine his treatment plan for the months/years ahead. We are so incredibly thankful for all of our family and friends who have been praying for our family daily and offered to help in any way possible. As my mom prepares to go back to work this week, I want to take the stresses of preparing meals off her plate.
