Story
As we walk this unknown journey with Abigail and our family, our goal for our kids is to keep as much normalcy as we can provide. We also know that we have many friends and family that want to help in some way. By providing small gifts of meals, we will be able to ensure that the girls have the nourishment needed to excel in school, play soccer, and dance. We can’t express how grateful we are for the gifts God has given us like the love and support from our family and friends! Love, Nate & Abigail
Special Notes
Our family loves to enjoy wholesome and healthy meals. We love egg casseroles, quiche, baked oatmeal and fresh fruit for breakfast. Our dinners mainly consist of protein and fresh seasonal fruits and veggies. We are so appreciative of everyone’s kindness and generosity. We were blown away by the amount of people donating meals, sending gift cards, flowers, taking care of our lawn, cleaning our house, etc. after Abigail’s first surgery on February 24th. A huge heartfelt THANK YOU to you all!! Now as Abigail is recovering from her second surgery and preparing for chemo once healed, we are opening up a second round of meal donation dates. As there are ongoing needs and her treatment schedule is set in the near future, this meal train page will continue to be updated with further dates. Thank you! ** When dropping off meals, please coordinate with Nate via text or call. His phone number is 412-498-4977 ** Drop off dates and times are flexible - please reach out to Nate or Abby’s sister Helen if a better day suits your schedule. ** If you are from out of town and cannot prepare meals for the Snee family but still want to help, here are some ideas: • gift cards to local restaurants • Oola Bowl at-home kit • donation to genetic counseling foundation: https://www.upmcpinnaclefoundation.org/ways-to-give/give-online (pick the Dr Gene and Elizabeth Triano Family Genetics Counseling Fund under the designation section) If you have any questions regarding this meal train or ways to help the Snee family, please reach out to Abby’s sister, Helen.
