After a diagnosis of LCIS with compounding factors, Rae and her doctors made the decision to move forward with a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery. She is treated at the New Orleans Breast Center. Due to the complexity of the surgery (both were on the same day Dec 5th), Rae has limited mobility and will be on medical leave through the end of January.
