Story
Jupee is having surgery to alleviate symptoms associated with his Chiari Malformation on Monday 10/28. For more details please read both Jupee and Amelia’s eloquent accounts of their journey with his illness found on their social media pages. Recovery time for surgery of this type is varied but the general timeline is expected to go a little something like this: the patient begins to feel as though surgery was worth it within 3 weeks, and then pretty well healed after 6-12 weeks, but symptom improvement could take a year. As many of us have learned in our lives, the outpouring of love and support from our communities are the stuff of magic. Let's show some love for the McCallisters through their healing. <3
Special Notes
The household has a soy allergy and prefers to avoid gluten, though is not intolerant.
