For the past year, Ayanna has been working on recovering from an avalanche of debilitating symptoms. On April 15th, Ayanna will undergo fibroid removal surgery. The recovery period is 4-6 weeks, during which doing tasks like cooking and cleaning will be very hard and Ayanna will not be allowed to lift anything more than 15 pounds.
