Hey all, On New Year's Eve, my sister's home was struck by lightning. By the grace of God, no one, not even the dog, was in the back room where it happened. The lightning fried their electrical system, so they don't have any power. This means all of the food in their fridge and freezer will spoil. Additionally, my sister and her family are displaced for the time being while their home is being treated for smoke and property damage. Right now, they don't know how long it will be until they can get back into their home. I'm hoping we can get a meal train going for them. I think it would be best to give monetary donations and gift cards because right now they don't know where they are going to stay and if it will have a kitchen.
