Darwin's Recovery, Supporting the Hemans Family

Danielsville, PA

Story

Hi my name is Indra and I'm Darwin's sister. Darwin was hospitalized for several days after suffering a couple of seizures unexpectedly. The experience compromised his body and his memory. He has made progress; however, he is still resting and recovering. He will be recovering for the next several months. During his recovery process, he will need to be on leave from work and is also not able to drive for 6 months. His family also now has added expenses associated with his hospitalization and recovery. This will have major financial implications for his family, so we appreciate any financial support you are able to provide for them. Thank you so much in advance for your generosity. More about Darwin's experience: Last fall Darwin and his family planned to move into their new home following some renovations. The contractor to complete those renovations started the work then disappeared with their pretty sizable deposit. This put them in a challenging predicament. They ended up having to live in an RV trailer with their 3 young kids while attempting to get the house at least to a condition they could move into. As the months went by they attempted to live in a portion of the house without most of their furniture and the majority of their belongings. Because of the financial restrictions, Darwin took on a lot of the labor himself and overtime this started to take toll on him mentally, emotionally and physically while trying to also balance work and his family. The weeks leading up to the seizures he was also consistently not sleeping well due to the stress of it all. The doctors believe the seizures were a result of the cumulative stress he has been going through the past several months.
