Story
On March 14th 2025, while preparing to evacuate her home due to rapidly advancing wildfires, Kathy Leimbach suffered a heart attack and cardiac arrest. Thankfully, her stepson Eric found her quickly, called 911, and administered CPR until the ambulance arrived. She was rushed to Norman Regional Hospital where she was stabilized and had stents placed. The CPR left her with cracked sternum and ribs and she is pretty sore. She is also just fatigued and weakened from more than a week spent in the hospital. She is going to need time to heal and will need some assistance as she recovers. I would be deeply grateful for any assistance with delivery of fresh meals, batch preparation and freezing of easy to eat single servings, grocery delivery, or offers to shuttle her to various appointments (both doctor's appointments and regular physical therapy). Kathy would also appreciate company and assistance in getting her garden planted.
