So I am Jeffrey M Brown the uncle of this amazing, funny, 9 yr old , Strong young man Nathan Torres. About 1 year ago Nathan Torres lost his loving dad Mario Torres to the nightmare of fentanyl at a young age of 25... It was hard for us all to deal with something so sudden and unexpected... Mario was my everyday guy, brother in-law ect. Well just as we are getting through that we find out Nathan has bone cancer and they start chemo immediately... I can only imagine the confusion my nephew is going through at 9yrs old and can only imagine how strong he has to be to go through all of this in a year... Well we had 1 other fundraiser for Nathan and I wasn't able to make it so me being a fisherman I wanted to do something big and meaningful for my nephew... So out of nothing but a thought of a fishing tournament , I put this River Monster tournament together in the entire state of Texas , all waters "The Nathan Strong River Monster Tournament" 2024 and all proceeds will go to my nephew and his great mom Ms. Emily Garcia who is having to take a lot of time off at work to be in the hospital by her son's side as any good mom would do....
