Miss Brenda has been undergoing some tests recently. It is disheartening to learn that the tests confirmed that she has lung cancer in one of her lungs. As a non-smoker it came as quite a shock at her annual check up. Brenda has decided to have surgery to remove the cancer on October 20 and will have a 6-8 week recovery. She has every intention of returning to Spectrum Station Downtown because that is the powerhouse women she is. Regardless of the timeframe, he spot is infinitely reserved. Miss Brenda has been a dedicated caregiver and the first face for many of the Spectrum Station Downtown families. Please send love and positive thoughts/prayers her way during this time.
