Kate received the surprising news of her Mantle Cell Lymphoma diagnosis in October of 2024 and started a very aggressive chemo treatment protocol with the goal of remission while we continue to hope for a cure. Her current chemo protocol is intense with several hospital inpatient treatments, many side effects, and a very compromised immune system. Some of you have reached out looking for ways to help. It’s hard to predict how she will feel each day and what she needs during each cycle of her treatment. So, we thought this was a great option to allow people to give her gift cards for instacart (she has been using this for groceries to avoid exposure to sickness at the stores), grubhub/uber eats/doordash (to give her the ability to order whatever food she wants if/when she feels up to it), and the ability to make Venmo donations to help her with medical expenses (despite insurance, she gets hit with out of pocket expenses for treatment and consultations with experts about the best treatment options for her).
