Story
Hi everybody! Thanks for checking out our page. On January 24 (the day after my birthday!) I will be having a long-awaited, much-needed hip surgery called a periacetabular osteotomy (PAO). I’m hopeful that this will reduce or even eliminate my chronic hip pain/instability and mobility challenges, but it’s going to be a long and challenging recovery! Granny and Pops (Pat and Bob Tobin) will be helping us out a lot, especially at first. ANY extra help is so greatly appreciated-whether it’s a meal, play date, a school pick up for Isaac or Deanie, just hanging out with me when Rob is at work, or Venmo contributions to my recovery supplies/yarn fund so I keep my hands busy :) If you would prefer to just reach out directly to us, you can always text or call me 443.878.8193 or Rob (443.299.9301). If it’s after surgery, it will be best to contact Rob-at least at first. If there’s a particular day that works best for helping and it’s not available, reach out and I’ll put it on the calendar. We would also really like backup childcare because we know it’s cold and flu season and things happen. Thank you again!!!
Special Notes
Freezer meals and snack foods greatly appreciated, especially nourishing and high protein foods. Stuff like lasagna, stuffed shells, soup salad breadsticks, stuffed peppers, sushi, baked ziti, etc. The kids are picky and want exclusively “kid foods” aka nuggets, mac and cheese, noodles. Food portions for 2 people are appreciated, portions for a family of 4 also won’t go to waste and maybe we can even convince the guys to try new things :)
