Carmen has recently been diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer. She is going to be going through several months of very strong chemotherapy. Her two sons Kevin & Christian live with her and her daughters Melissa and Nikki visit often. So let’s help by giving them two less meals each week to worry about. Carmen says they can eat anything and they don’t have any allergies. Carmen is a clean eater and she needs nutrient-rich foods. Her tastes may change as she goes through her treatment. I know from Micah’s chemo experience that food avoidances and cravings cannot be predicted. Often the best option is to send gift cards for the family to pick whatever works best for them each week. It was a real blessing to us when Micah was sick, and I believe it could really benefit the Curtis family at this time. Carmen cannot receive guests at this time due to the risks of her getting exposed to any extra illness, but she can receive gifts and cards. Let’s fill her life with as much love, life, encouragement and faith as she has filled all of ours! And let’s stand together and pray for our Dear Heavenly Father to touch and heal her body in the glorious name of Jesus Christ our Lord! ❤️
