If you’ve lived in Seventeen lakes for any amount of time, you’ve probably seen Mr. Bill walking his daily 2 miles early every morning. You could also find him outside the majority of the day tending to his immaculate lawn and flower beautiful garden. His warm smile and calm demeanor warms up the heart of anyone he meets. Betty, his wife, while not often seen, is the most precious sweet lady as well. They have been our direct next door neighbors since we moved into our home back in 2020. Our two kids beg us to go over to Mr. Bill’s house and he always graciously lets them in, enjoying a little bit of the adventure himself. Recently, Bill was diagnosed with Cancer. The news hit our family like a ton of bricks as I cried the entire way into my office after I heard the news. Betty has had her own health challenges and has experienced some serious falls which resulted in broken bones. As a community, I am asking us to come together and show up BIG for them! They are the most deserving humans. We love them. Seventeen Lakes loves them!
