As some of you may know, Christina and her sister, Heather, have been dealing with their parents' health issues for some time now. This past weekend, they moved Janice, Christina's mom, to Christina's house, which we will refer to as Holmes Hospice. Meanwhile, Wayne is in a nearby hospital addressing his own health complications. He is unaware that Janice is at Holmes Hospice, and his condition is deteriorating. During my visit with Christina, she received numerous calls from doctors, friends, and family members. I brought her lunch, and she almost forgot to eat. I can only imagine how overwhelming this situation must be for her. To help ease her burden, I think it would be beneficial for us to provide meals, so she has one less thing to worry about.
