After 15 years in pain, doctors have finally agreed that Matt can get a new hip. He is going under the knife on January 13th (4th surgery in 10 years, but who’s counting?) Recovery from any surgery is never fun, and Matt’s healing process is a bit of a wild card due to his Ehlers-Danlos diagnosis. Matt was out of work all of December, and is expected to be out on short-term disability until April. We’ve always been a scrappy bunch, but this past year has been a challenge. As he recovers, and hopefully gets back to work on time, we’re asking our village to help us get through this tough season.
