Story
Daniel Vickery, who is just 1 year old, has suffered some burns to his hands and has successfully gone through one surgery but will required another surgery on Thursday, November 7th. We would like to bless the Vickery family by providing a few meals during this time. Here is a message from Lydia: Thinking through how things have gone the last couple days, we think it would be really helpful to have some meals over Daniel's next surgery if people are willing. Update 11/4: Thank you all so much for praying and caring for us. Now praise the Lord with us because we have great news! Daniel pulled one of his casts off over the weekend, so we went into surgery clinic today where they took everything off both hands expecting to put on new casts. He's healing so well that they sent us home with just regular dressings and cancelled his surgery! His fingers are out and he can use them to grab things and play and hold his own cup - he is thrilled. They even said we could give him a bath and replace the dressings after. He's still sick and healing and we'll have to change the dressings regularly, but we're so thankful to avoid more surgery and to start letting him have a bit more independence again.
