Hello, my Name is Amber and I’m 41yrs old whom was recently diagnosed with Triple negative breast cancer /Ki-67 high/ grade 3, (Stage IIB) and the BRCA 1 gene. My treatment plan is carboplatin plus paclitaxel plus pembrolizumab weekly (12 sessions) followed by AC plus pembrolizumab x 4 cycles followed by bilateral mastectomy and pembrolizumab for one year infusions. Also 20 sessions of radiation and reconstructive surgery and total hysterectomy. Also daily injections for 5 days a week to boost my blood cell count. I have an amazing husband of 19yrs named Gabe and we have two children named Maeleen whom we adopted, she is 10yrs and Michael whom is our nephew whom we took in at age 3yrs got non parental custody of and he is now 16yr. I have a long journey ahead, My cancer facility and my counselor is encouraging me to reach out. I NEVER been the type to ask for help and always been the one whom wants to help others. But this is HARD and we can use all the support and prayers. We asking for help with any of these things, taking the kids out, transportation, get gift cards for food, gas, something off the amazon wishlist for surgery and chemo, drop off a meal, prayers or just company…
