On Saturday February 22, 2025 Isabella went into baby labor. As you can imagine this is an exciting day! The labor progression was very slow and on February 24, 2025 the L & D team decided to move forward with a C-section. After baby Abel was born Isabella had a complication which is known as an amniotic fluid embolism which is where amniotic fluid is absorbed into the blood causing a severe allergic reaction. This is a very rare situation and we are very great ful for Isabella and Baby Abel to be ok.
