Hello Olive Hills Neighbors. I’m reaching out to help a family in our neighborhood, that we have just discovered is dealing with a serious health issue, and could use a little help. Larry, Evelyn, and Krystina have been our neighbors on Banyan Court for over 20 years. We are a military family, and Larry has always looked out for myself and our girls during deployments, etc… I would like to return the favor. I don’t know details, other than Evelyn has cancer, is undergoing treatment, and it really wipes her out. Larry is exhausting himself trying to be caregiver, take care of things around the house, and worrying non stop. One small way to ease some stress that I know of from our military community is to assist with a “meal train.” They don’t need to be inundated with food, maybe twice a week, a dinner. Evelyn’s appetite isn’t great, but good nutrition is vital for her fight. I’ve never organized one of these myself, so bear with me if I have a learning curve. If you could sign up for one meal, help spread the word, anything would help.
