💙 Ezra Steven Nishimoto 💙 January 24, 2025 @ 3:36 pm 5 lbs 6 oz & 18.5" long After McKenna's water broke late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning, we came to the hospital Thursday morning where she labored for over 37 hours with no pain meds like an absolute boss before requiring a c-section. Had a few challenges with the surgery and she lost a lot of blood, but overall, Mom is recovering well and Nate is in full dad mode, going back & forth between the NICU with baby Ezra and Mother-Baby with McKenna. Little Ezra Steven, who got his first name from the Bible and his middle name from his Papa Steven, made his arrival at 3:36 pm yesterday. He's hanging out in the NICU, since he decided to make his grand entrance to the world a month early, but he's doing great and is absolutely precious. If he continues to do as well as he is, he'll being going home with his mom & dad when McKenna is discharged. We had some people ask about bringing the new parents a meal to help out as McKenna recovers from a LONG difficult labor & surgery.
