Story
Alan's Journey supports Alan and Pammy as they travel this journey. This story of recovery began in 2022 when Alan was diagnosed with COVID and then Long COVID. Since the first diagnosis, Alan has also been diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, multiple myeloma, restrictive cardio myopathy, squamous cell skin cancer, and liver damage. At this stage the myeloma is not active, so doctors are closely watching it to make sure that it stays that way. The skin cancer has been removed and is the wound is healing. Alan is currently on medication for the heart condition, and receiving blood transfusions and iron infusions to help with his myriad of symptoms. He is currently waiting to hear from the transplant team to see if he will qualify for a liver transplant. Our plan is to update this calendar every couple of weeks as needs arise. Right now our focus is to make sure that medical costs and days missed of work are financially covered. We are also looking for daily prayers for Alan, Pammy, and the team of medical staff and others helping. A meal delivered to their home would be great each Wednesday or Thursday as those are the days Pammy is working both jobs. In the future, we may add other types of needs as they arise. Please feel free to reach out to Pammy or her sister Peggy if you have any questions.
Special Notes

He can have: Kidney beans, cannellini beans, black beans, refried beans, and tomato sauces. His dietary restrictions call for: low salt, low fat foods. Pammy prefers non spicy foods.
