As Eric prepares to deploy, we are hit with many emotions. Pride, love, concern... This being his first deployment as a married man, I'm sure it feels a lot heavier. His bravery and selflessness are remarkable, and we want to honor and support him any way we can. One way we can ease his heart is by offering the assurance that his little family is going to be loved and cared for while he is serving his country far from home. Vanessa is one of the strongest and most independent women I know. Her faith in God is inspiring as she faces yet another giant challenge in her young life. She loves Eric infinitely and the separation will be tough. Her personal sacrifice and commitment to taking care of things on the home front all on her own are to be commended as well. The purpose of this "in kind" page is to let Vanessa and Eric know that we are committing to love and support them through this season. Their network of friends and family is very strong but this allows it to become tangible and visible so we can share in the excitement, tears, quiet time, loneliness, successes and above all, love. We are all knit together as a supportive unit.
