At a young 42 years of age, Carla suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on Friday October 28th. The whole family is just in shock and we are now finding ways to help care for Erik and the kids while their beloved wife and mom is fighting for her life. Erik of course has been by her side along with her oldest daughter Kyla and they could use the communities support. I’ve started this calendar to ease the burden of cooking during this time. If we can get 2 dinners a week to them I know it would be greatly appreciated!! If your not a cook, gift cards are accepted as well. I’ve seen how Bastrop is so supportive of its residents and know we can get this community to come together for Carla and her family at this time.
